UDAEF Welcomes New Board Members as the Foundation Enters an Exciting New Chapter

The Upper Darby Arts & Education Foundation is pleased to welcome Latiaynna Tabb and Nadina R. Deigh to our Board of Directors. Both were unanimously approved by the Board in August and begin their service at an especially exciting moment for UDAEF.

This summer, we opened the doors to the SPARC in Barclay Square, creating a new home for year-round arts, education, and community programming for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We continued to operate our legacy programs, Summer Stage and the Schoener MusicMan Academy, we are building new programs and partnerships, and continuing our 250 for 250 campaign to help strengthen the Foundation for the future.

And we are already looking ahead.

As UDAEF continues to grow, so must the community of leaders, supporters, donors, partners, and volunteers surrounding our work. We are currently accepting expressions of interest from community members who may wish to be considered for Board seats becoming available in 2027.

Latiaynna and Nadina exemplify the kind of experience, perspective, and community commitment that will help guide this next chapter.

Latiaynna Tabb is an accomplished entrepreneur, community leader, and advocate for economic empowerment throughout Greater Philadelphia. As Managing Director of Tabb Management and Co-Founder and Co-Director of Black Girls With Green Thumbs, she brings deep experience in business, youth development, environmental education, and community engagement.

Nadina R. Deigh is an accomplished higher education and nonprofit leader who currently serves as Associate Vice President for University Initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout her career, she has led major philanthropic initiatives, cultivated transformative partnerships, and worked extensively with nonprofit organizations, donors, volunteers, and governing boards.

We are thrilled to welcome Latiaynna and Nadina - and even more excited about what their arrival represents.

UDAEF is growing. Our reach is growing. And the community helping us build what comes next is growing, too.

Whether that means supporting 250 for 250, experiencing something at the SPARC, partnering with us, volunteering, or exploring future Board service, there has never been a better time to become part of what UDAEF is building with and for our shared community.
